Show HIGHLAND BOy! Mario Azzelio Attending the wedding reception recep-tion of Bruno Fassio and Mary Parry. Saturday evening were Mr and Mrs. George Massa, Mr. and Mrs Bch Cochran, Mrs. Tony Azzelio, Mrs. James Bianchi, Mane Azzelio, Norman Bianchi, Josephin Rottini, Joan Massa and Attelio Azzelio. The reception was held at Forest Dale clubhouse club-house Mr. Fassio is employed by Kennecott corporation and Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fa .mo of Murr ay Sam Okvich, son 01 '4UCG (!a vich and Nick Chanak. son of Mr. and Mrs. Hay Chanak, re turned home Saturday to spend the summer vacation. The boys have been students at the University Uni-versity of Texas the past year and both have expressed desires to just plain test. They are planning plan-ning to return to their studies in September. Spending Tuesday shopping i ana visiting in Salt Lake City Were Mr and Mrs. John Muhur and Mrs. Milka Smilanieh, who was later a dinner guest at the Muhar home. Mr and Mrs Wrlliam Pmo of Salt Lake City were week-end guests at the home of Mrs. Mary Pazell. Mrs. Pino is planning to spend the rest of the week he re while her husband is completing Studies at the University of Utah Mary Lovench left Thursday for Park City where she will visit indefinitely at the home of Miss Evie Davlch, Friday evening proved to be a rather special evening for the east members of "Mystery Island" Is-land" and their guests when they were honored by the P-TA for an evening of dinner and dancing danc-ing Bach couple were presented with a little ribbon corsage and the decorations were carried out by assembling several balloons to correspond wrth the corsages. Those ' in attendance were Mr i and Mrs. George Balich, Mr. and college. The young man is well I known among students here and during his college career was outstanding in athletic circles whi r e he now owns a posrtion of j renown. His athletic abilities ' have won him several medals, j one of which is the Golden Glo- j ves for outstanding boxing. We feel that the position is one of i grave responsibility but to a young and capable leader as Mr. Pazell it will be well taken care of. Sunday evening church ser vices held at the Highland Boy Community House were in observance ob-servance With the nationwide "Student Day" held for the pur-! pose of maintainrng scholarship funds for those students who ! need financial assistance in attending at-tending college. Several young people presented a demonstration demonstra-tion "Building Tomorrow's Church" in which the value of education and religion were pre-' sented and its effects on everyday every-day life. Those participating were Steve Smilanieh, Milan Smilanieh, Marie Azzelio, Mrs. j Daniel Shea, Josephine Rubal-pava. Rubal-pava. Highland Boy looked with J pride this week at Moraga Valley, Val-ley, Calif., where one of its own sons graduated with a degree in Liberal Arts from St. Mary's |
