AEM 2C Ralph Brown and wife Margaret, returned home Nov. 10 after a trip to Baltimore for Navy day. They came thru Washington, D.C., and spent a day visiting friends in Chicago. Mr. Brown left Tuesday for New York tot report to the carrier, the USS Randolph, which has been changed to a transport to bring troops back from Europe Mrs. Ernest Keith Poulsen and baby Rhonda of Riverton spent a few days and enjoyed Thanks-giving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Ernest G. Poulsen. Mrs- Jordan Mower of Fair-vie-is spending a few days in Copperton visiting with her dau-ghters, Mrs. E. G. Poulsen and Mrs. Alton Pearson. Mrs. Mary Etta McCormick re-ceived a telephone call Wednes-day from her husband, Sgt. C. J. McCormick, from New York. He will arrive home sometime next week- Sunday Mrs. Harry' Sours and Mrs. C. J. McCormick and son attended a family reunion din-ner at the home of Mrs. Harry Quayle. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Seville, and Mrs. Ethelyn Nicholls and sons Fred and Dick. Maxine Warner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. O. R. Warner is arriving home Friday from San Diego where she has finished her training. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike were Wednesday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Watson. Cards were played and a delic-- 1 ious luncheon served. Mrs. Ray Watson entertained Mrs. W. A. Fike for luncheon Fri-day Thursday evening visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Watson were Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Swain. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Wilson en-- I tertained Mrs. Wilson's sister, Mr. and Mrs. G. P. Arnspiger of Salt Lake for Thanksgiving din-- I ner. While Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen attended the American Legion conference in Chicago, she was the guest of Mrs. Swanner, out-going Nat- Chapeau of 8 et 40 at her headquarters suite at Stevens hotel in Chicago. Mrs. Knudsen acted as color bearer at Marche. Following the conference Mrs. Knudsen and Mrs. Ethel Swan-ner of Sat Lake City motored through Michigan, Missouri, Ok-lahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Ari-zona and Nevada, stopping at points of interest. They reached home Tuesday evening after be- - ing gone two weeks. Mrs. Knud-sen was delegate from district No. 3. Thursday evening dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Hansen and daugh-ters, Joyce and Janice, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brisk and children, Allen and Linda Ann. The Copperton Study Guild met Monday evening at the home of Mrs. V. S. Barlow with Mrs. Barlow and Mrs. Warren G. All-so- p as hostesses. Mrs. Francis Oswald talked on dancing. She told the history of dancing and talked about it as a profession and body builder. Delicious re-freshments were served. The annual Christmas party of the Study Guild will be held Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olsen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brisk and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Olsen and family were Thanks-giving guests of Mr. and Mrs Moroni Olsen of Pleasant Grove. Barnett was ta-ken ill and to the Bingham hos-pital Tuesday evening with a bad chest cold. Lorraine Butt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Butt, was called to have an audition to sing at the Lyric theater in Salt Lake City, Friday evening. She would like very much to have as many friends as possible present to boost her, for if she wins she will get a weeks' singing engagement. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Colyar enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nester of Salt Lake City. Visitors last Wednesday and Thursday to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Phil Dowdell were Mr. and Mrs. Ne-p- Dowdell of Springville. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster and children, Winn and Char-len- e, visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Sweeten of American Fork. Mrs Mary E.
