Mr. and Mrs. James Zanardi and daughter spent Wednesday evening visitmg at the Charles Zanardi home. Mrs. Erma Yengich and dau-hte- r, Kay, received a lovely gift fr'om R 3:C Nick Yengich from Alaska Tuesday. The gift con-sisted of two lovely Alaskan mo-ccasin slippers with monograms Nick is expected home durrng the next week or two. Other guests included were Mary and Ann Casich and Mrs. Nick A. Yengich. T. Sgt. Cocco is a former furloughed soldier, who was recalled by the army when metal miners were no longer needed here. He has received his discharge and is enroute to Wim- - ber, Pa., his home. Mrs. Billy Pino was a visitor at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary Pazell for the past week. Pvt. Chano Rubalcava of the' marine corps and former resi-dent, spent Wednesday evening with Bill Pazell and Vincent Mi-ol- a. Ann Rnkich, employee of the Bingham hospital was a dinner-gues- t Sunday at the home of Mr and Mrs. Joe Rakieh and family. Mrs. Lucille Gallon's Sunday dinner guests were her daughter! and son-in-la- Watertendor 3 C Hudson Shepard and son, Vin-- 1 cent. Mrs. Shepard is the former; Martha Padgen. She is now at the Standard Oil Co. until her husband's discharge. Mrs. Geeorge Piedmont of New Mexico left Monday evening to return to her home after spend-ing 30 days here with her fa- - mily and friends Sunday after-- ! noon she was Honored at a din-ner given by her sister-in-la- Mrs. Milan Lukai of Midvale. World War II veterans Eli Tomas and Gray Melich spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Mil- - ka Smilanich. Both boys are former residents of Highland Boy and are a welcomed sight to war weary residents. Mr. and Mrs. Pete Mandarich of Midvale spent Sunday visiting among old friends and relatives here. They were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Rose Yen-gich- Enjoying the game Saturday at U of U was T. Sgt. Dominic Cocco of Ft. Worth, Tex., Marie Azzelio and Chris T. Praggastis Of Salt Lake City. Following the game a light luncheon was ser-ved at the home of Miss Azzelio, the illness of Wade Todd, and son Eddie. Mr. and Mrs. Greg Tyson and Family aid Mrs. W- J. Whetsel has been overseas for the past two years and four months.
