Bob Cowdell spent 'August 1G j and 17 with his cousin, Kayle Brereton of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. D. J. Goodwin of Salt Lake City are spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust. Mrs. E. S- Grant left Tuesday morning with her mother and 1 sister, Mrs. Hannah Terry and Mrs. Ben Burnham, both of Draper, Dra-per, to spend several weeks with Mrs, Harold Francom of Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Williams and son of Salt Lake City spent Monday evening visiting Mr. and Mrs. Louis DeCol. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike and family, Dorothy Hansen, Mr. and Mi's. H. Smernoff and Linda, all of Copperton, joined Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Fike and family and Mrs. Eugene Perrine and son, all of Murray, in an outing at Liberty park August 16. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Skinner and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd D. Boul-ton Boul-ton and family. Mrs. B. H. Dean and children, Kathryn King and Jesse Boulton left Tuesday for Rockland, Ida, to visit five days with Mr. and Mrs. D. D, White. Maureen Buckle returned Tuesday Tues-day evening after visiting several sev-eral days with Gladys Grant at American Fork. Dorothy Steele of Ogden spent the week-end at the J. F. Barkle home. Sunday dinner guests of the Barkles included Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Booth of Salt Lake City. Janet Bolton is spending a week with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Collins of Garfteld. Allen Ray Collins returned re-turned with Mr. and Mrs. Bolton Bol-ton Sunday for a few days' stay. The Boltons enjoyed an afternoon after-noon outing at Black Rock. Mr. and Mrs. Ben F. Smith called on friends in Provo August 17. A daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. T. L. Houghton August 23 died shortly after birth at St. Mark's hospital. Mrs. A. L. Redmond of Copperton Cop-perton entertained for her daughter, daugh-ter, Paddie Ann, on her ninth birthday last Saturday afternoon, after-noon, at a picnic near Copper-ton. Copper-ton. A hike and marshmallow roast was enjoyed by the following follow-ing young guests: Carol Jean Bolton, Sandra Laycuck, Audrey Ann Sumnicht, Jackie Barnett, Carolyn Stoddard, Darlene Anderson, An-derson, Dorothy Garrett, Joan Carl, Barbara Nix, Tommy Mike Redmond and the honored guest. Following the oichic cake and ice cream were served the guests at the Redmond home. Candy bars were given as favors. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Richins and family of Salt Lake City spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs, E. J. Cowdell. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Denver were Mrs. Denver's brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Maxwell of Eureka. Eur-eka. Walter Hunter, a personnel worker at Kearns, spent Sunday with the Denvers.
