A Ray alpin president of the university told regents that now is the time to decide how to keep th the school operating at the same level during the next biennium bien- bien He declared that the closest estimates show that the in institution institution institution in- in will need during the next biennium if present standards standards stand stand- ards are to be maintained Dr alpin outlined a plan which he said he thought would meet the situation He advised the following following follow follow- in ing program 1 Increased out of tuition fees from 55 to for the school year This would raise nn an estimated for the biennial 2 Standardization of tuition fees among the various colleges in inthe inthe inthe the university by making malting fees to all colleges 37 37 a quarter In some gome colleges now the fee is 27 This would affect an estimated 2500 students and would raise for the biennium 3 Increased registration fees which cover student activities etc raising the amount from 10 to 20 20 a year This would bring an anSee anSee anSee See Page 2 Column 6 u. u Of U.
