Show ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED At a beautifully appointed tea Saturday afternoon in the Empire Em-pire loom, Hotel Utah for 14 close friends, Dr. and Mrs. Paul S. Richards formally announced the engagement and approach ing marri'tge of their daughtci Miss Ethel Richards, to Alvm W. Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allan M. Raker, Salt Lake City. Parchment scrolls taken from t copy of an old English m.uui script bote the wedding date. Sweet peat and tulips centered the table. The marriage will be solemnized solem-nized on June 4 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. A reception will follow at the Lion House. Miss Richards belongs to Alpha Chi Omega, Orchesis society, Apmin and is a former president Of Phi Chi Theta. The bride groom-elect has just returned from four years' army duty. The bride-elect's sister, Dr. j Lcnore Richards, will be maid of honor and will fly here from; Cincinnati for the occasion. Miss Louise Clyde of Springville, a 1 sorority Sister, will be bridesmaid brides-maid Sheldon Baker will act as j best man for his brother. |
