Show ship. Over 200 young people and their leaders gathered from all over the state. At 3:30 p.m. they met at the copper pit where they saw its wonders and heard from officers of the copper company much awe-inspiring information. This was followed by an hour of sociability, games and a treasure hunt in Highland Boy. A Pot luck supper was an important part of the evening. At 7 o'clock a fine worship service and program pro-gram was held. Numbers included includ-ed music by the young ladies choir and the junior choir; readings read-ings by Josephine Rubalcava, Ann Pechina and Dorothy Gerbich; the play "Color Blind" and movies mo-vies on the mission topic of the year India. Three beautiful hymns were presented in technicolor tech-nicolor and sound. The many guests declared that Highland Boy had been a wonderful host. There was much shouting and much laughter as the tightly-parked tightly-parked cars pulled out and headed head-ed down the canyon. The Ques-te'rs Ques-te'rs and Queen Esthers had planned plan-ned and worked out the many details necessary for the entertaining enter-taining of so many guests Each member was on a committee and had definite tasks to perform. The help of Bingham, Copperton and Highland" Boy ladies was greatly appreciated by the hostesses. hos-tesses. Mr. and Mrs Tony Stilanovich and son were welcomed visitors Friday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Henry Keysaw. j Tiny also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Slu-a Manuel Ortcgo, son of Mrs. ; Josephine Ortcgo, recently wrote from Guam that "conditions overseas ov-erseas are greatly improved to what they wen- during wartime. Reconstruction is progi vss.ng fairly well." Mr. Ortega is i m-ployed m-ployed by Morriaon-Knudsen Co. and is planning to remain their for a year. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kopesec Jr. and family of Murray were Sunday Sun-day dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kopesec Sr. Mr and Mrs. Pete Chanak, of Salt Lake City, were overnight guests Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Chanak. Home for the summer vacation and temporarily abandoning studies stu-dies at Henagers are Raymond Kopesec and Jimmy Valdez. The hoys have been enrolled at the college the past year and are planning to resume studies this fa" Miss Josephine Rottini was h (I saiurday at a delightful birthday party held at the home oi Mrs. Tony Azzelio. The room Was decorated in a sequence of Sevens and the table centerpiece was a large birthdav cake. Games Gam-es were enjoyed with prizes going go-ing to Douglas Beck, Patricia Yengich, Vivian Ortcgo and Sally Sal-ly Lucas Other guests present included Vivian Ann Kosovich, Cheryl Cochran, Sophie Error, H,l Allen Bullock. Lucille Bal-ich, Bal-ich, Ubert, Karen, Moss and Marian Mar-ian Lucas. Refreshment! were served to the guests and Miss Rottini received many lovelv gifts, Mrs. Rose Yengich returned home Saturday after spending the winter months visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Roth of Grass Valley. Calif. Mrs Yengich is now residing at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Kosovich. Miss Ada Duhigg was guest .speaker at the W.S.C.S- of the ; Methodist church at Ogden on j May I, Other guests present were from Tromonton, Corrine and Salt Lake City.
