Following the short business meeting, Miss June Culbertson, program chairman, introduced Mrs. Burton Musser of Salt Lake City, widely known authority on South America and who was official of-ficial delegate from the United States to the Lima and Mexico City conferences, being appointed appoint-ed by the late president, Franklin Frank-lin D. Roosevelt. An outstanding honor for the state of Utah since only five women have had distinction dis-tinction of such appointment and she was the only one appointed twice, both times by President Roosevelt. Mrs. Musser centered her dis- two weeks at Los Angeles at the home of Mrs. H. C. Jenkins. Copperton Girl Scouts the age of 13 and 14 are taking a course in charm at the Tribune and Telegram building, Salt Lake City. All the girls enjoy learning learn-ing about such things as posture, how to take care of hair, skin, hands and nails, and the modeling model-ing of clothes. The girls have been attending this course for the past two Saturdays and will continue for the next two Saturdays. Sat-urdays. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cheever were Tuesday afternoon visitors at the home of Mrs. Cheever's sister, Mrs. V. E. Giver of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Poulsen of Riverton, Bob Poulsen, Mar-gene Mar-gene Barlow, Doris Poulsen, Gearl Deen Gammell and John Poulsen enjoyed swimming at Saratoga Friday evening-Visiting evening-Visiting at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Jensen is their grandmother, Mrs. Mary E. Yates of Midvale. STUDY GUILD Study Guild met Monday evening ev-ening at the home of Mrs- Richard Rich-ard H. Willey with Mrs. H. L. Garrity as cohostess. Members approved a motion to give $2.50 to the Cancer drive. Mrs. R. D. Rubright was welcomed wel-comed into the organization as a new member. Mrs. Roy C. Hatch, entertainment chairman, announced that the annual party would take place Monday, May!
