Show LOCALNOTES Bingham district Boy Scout council will hold their next regular monthly meeting Monday, Mon-day, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Utah Power and Light office. Galena lodge No. 17, auxiliary to Oquirrh lodge No. 844, of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen Fire-men and Enginemen, will hold their next meeting Thursday evening, ev-ening, May 9. Jay-C-Ettes honored their husbands hus-bands at a bridge-dinner last Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Johnston. Spaghetti and meat balls, combination com-bination salad, cake and coffee were served. Among those present pres-ent were Mr. and Mrs. Elmo A. Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Harold W. Nielsen, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zaccaria, Mr and Mrs. Ray Buckle, Buck-le, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Chesler, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jimas, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Carl, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Arata, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Ivie and Mr. and Mrs. Johnston. Prizes at cards were won by Mr. and Mrs. Buckle. Mr. and Mrs. Johnston received house prize. Leland G. Burress of Gooding, Ida-, arrived last Thursday evening ev-ening to visit Friday and Saturday Satur-day with Mr. and Mrs. John Adamek. Mr. Burress brought a group of boys from Gooding to participate in the track meet at BYU. No- 1 Firemen and auxiliary held their monthly conjoint dinner din-ner meeting Monday evening. In charge of arrangements were Mr. and Mrs. Boyd J. Nerdin. Mr. and Mrs. William D. Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Cook and Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Stillman. The centerpiece was of lilacs and tulips. Places were set for 33. Bridge followed with prizes going go-ing to Mrs. Nerdin, Mrs. Marlin Schultz, Mrs- Ben McAllister, Mr. Stillman, Leonard L. Miller and Bruce Ivie. No. 2 Fire auxiliary were entertained en-tertained Monday evening by Mrs. John Martin. Prizes at cards were won by Mrs. Reno Marcon, Mrs- Joseph Timothy and Mrs. Louis J. Arritola. |
