Show BINGHAM WINS DISTRICT TITLE Behind the fine six-hit pitching pitch-ing of Big Bailey Santistevan Jr. the Bingham high school nine defeated Cyprus high school 14-2 to win the Jordan division championship cham-pionship last Thursday. Santistevan Santis-tevan allowed but six scattered hits and struck out 11 men. Mc-Farlane, Mc-Farlane, his rival, struck out 7 and allowed 12 hits. Bingham scored in the second inning, taking a two-run load after a walk and hard line drive by Santistevan and a hit by Kent Stillman. The Miners, by good baserunning and hitting in the pinches, scored four runs in the third inning and went on to allow al-low Cyprus two runs in the fifth on two hits and a misjudged fly ball. The hitting of Crump, Still-man Still-man and Dimas were the features of the game. Bingham high is now looking forward to playing in the state semi-finals with Brigham City, winners of the Big Six schools, and the winner of the Alpine league.
