on Head Collision Hospitalizes Four Confines Three Others to Homes Injured In a on head-on collision in inthe inthe inthe the 2900 block on South State East str street t four persons Friday were in Salt Lake City hospitals and three more were at their homes recovering from cuts and bruises Hospitalized by the crash which occurred Thursday at 9 55 p. p m. m were Mrs Jean Parson 42 Elko Nev in fair condition at L D S hospital hospit l with a fracture of or the left leg and bruises bruis s about the head and face Herschel Hethcote a soldier from Portland Ind at the Fort Douglas hospital with wrist and leg cuts and bruises his wife Mrs Margaret Hethcote 19 in fairly good condition at Salt Lake general hospital with head lacerations and Ephraim Crosley 24 East Second South street in fair condition at the general hospital with head and arm lacer lacer- Treated at the general hospital and returned to their homes were Katherine Paz ell 22 Midvale i shock and knee cuts her sister Rose 19 bruised legs and chin and Rayo Floyd also of East Second South street cutson cuts cutson on the nose and arms Mr Floyd with Mr Crosley and the sisters as passengers was driving south when frost on the windshield obscured his vision He swerved to the wrong side of the street into the path of the northbound machine driven by Mrs Parson according to State Patrolmen John Visser and J J.
