Show MINUTE WOMEN COLLECTDEER FAT Final count on pieces of "jewelry" "jewel-ry" collected for service men to ue in bartering in the Pacific brought the total to 2354 from Bingham, Mrs. J. Dewey Knudsen, Knud-sen, chairman of the Minute Women, Wo-men, announced Wednesday. L J. Todhunter, regional salvage sal-vage chief with offices at Denver, Den-ver, this week praised Utah s organization or-ganization of Minute Women. Newest statewide drive of these workers on the home front is their campaign to get Utah sportsmen sports-men to save deer hides and deer fat for war use. Mrs. Knudsen reminds local hunters and their families that deer hides make fine Rlovesfw high altitude airmen. The fat is important to swell the collection of this vital material used in the manufacture of explosives. Local Minute Women are urged urg-ed to contact every hunter possible pos-sible for hides and fat and telephone tele-phone Mrs. Knudsen for further instructions. |
