Show LAST RITES FOR J1GRESHAM Funeral services for John Le-roy Le-roy Gresham were held Saturday afternoon at the Bingham mortuary mor-tuary chapel with Bishop David C. Lyon officiating. Mr. Gresham, 63, died suddenly October 6 of a heart attack at his home. Eugene Morris gave the opening open-ing prayer and A. G. Woodland the benediction. Speakers were the Reverend Donald Smith, Bishop Lyon, Mr. Morris and Mr. Woodland. , . Singing Mothers of the Bingham Bing-ham LDS ward Relief society sang three selections: "Rock of Ages", "Abide With Me" and "Nearer My God To Thee". Mrs. Nora Austin was piano accompanist. accom-panist. Members of the Women s Society of Christian Service took charge of flowers. Interment was in the Bingham City cemetery under direction ot Bingham mortuary. Mr - r,rpham was a native or Manhattan, Kansas. He had lived in Arizona and New Mexico before be-fore coming to Bingham to reside re-side about 23 years ago. He was a mining man and at various times was a leaser or employed by U. S. Mine, Utah Apex and the Utah Copper company until the last few years when he was I employed by the City street de- PaHwife, Mary Caroline (Carrie) (Car-rie) Wagner Gresham, has been city librarian the past 7 years.. Other survivors are a son, r. J. Gresham, with the U. S. -army, a daughter, First Lieutenant Ruth Guilfoil with the WACs, and Mrs. Laura Jones of Annis-ton, Annis-ton, Ala. |
