Verio Kendrick left Monday to visit in Providence with relatives before leaving for the navy. Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. For-rest Loader and two children of Heasant Grove visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen. Mrs. Ross Palmer and small son of South Jordan are spend-ing the next few days at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Larsen. Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Anmtstead and two children vis-ited in Salt Lake City at the home of Mrs. Armitstead's sister, Mrs. Dean Louis, who is leaving for Indiana to join her husband. Mrs. Frank Peterson returned Tuesday from Santa Ana, Calif., where she visited her son, Rich-ard S. Peterson Seaman 1 C. Mrs. Peterson also stopped in Han-for- d, where she visited her broth-er and sister-in-la- Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Smith, and in San Francisco where she visited her aunt, Mrs. Millie Barker of Val-lej- o and also was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Newman and fami-ly, formerly of Bingham. Lorraine Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson, visited at home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Cheever and daughters, Shirley and Elaine, visited in Salt Lake City Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Guiver. Tuesday Mr. and Mrs. Don Stoddard honored their daughter, Caroline, at a birthday party. Games were played and prizes given Patricia Ablett, Colleen Larsen and Wayne Kendrick. The other guests were Sally Brown, Lelia Johnson, Bonnie Skinner, Janet Bolton, Joyce Farley, Jackie Barnett, Barbara Nix, Mary DeCol, Beverly Ray, Joyce Olsen, La Von Anderson and Betty Lou Bailey. A delight-ful two-cours- e luncheon was served and individual birthday cakes given as favors. Thursday evening Robert Pul-lan, Dean Parkin, Bob and Dick Jenkins, James Peterson, Boyd Stoddard and James Wing en-joyed swimming at Saratoga with their priesthood advisor, H. A. Cheever.
