Show Thursday, after a four day visit with her sister, Lorraine Swain in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jacob-sen Jacob-sen and family were overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Loader of Pleasant Grove Tuesday evening. Thursday dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Parkin, Par-kin, was Mrs. Michael Pearce of Salt Lake City. Mrs. J. H. Colyar was a dinner din-ner guest of her sister, Mrs. Charles Conner of Salt Lake City, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Jacobson and sons, David and Edward, were overnight guests Monday at the home of Mrs- Jacobson's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Chip-man Chip-man of American Fork. Mrs. Gordon Jensen of Bingham Bing-ham was a week-end guest of Mrs. Elwin Winn. A slumber party was enjoyed by Bonnie June Olsen, Shirley Rae Mayne and Maureen Ray Tuesday evening at June's home. Breakfast was served by Mrs. Melvin Olsen. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olsen and family and Shirley Rae Mayne enjoyed Sunday at River Side park. A delightful birthday luncheon lun-cheon was served in honor of Mrs. Olsen's sisters, Mrs- Walter Williams of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Eugene Nelson of Provo. Visitors Saturday evening at the Melvin Olsen home were Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Thalmann and family of Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hudson accompanied their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Landheim to their home in Dal-hart, Dal-hart, Texas. The group left Sunday. Sun-day. The Hudsons plan to spend two weeks at the Landheim home. Mrs. Dewey Mayne and daughter, daugh-ter, Shirley, spent Monday visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. Harry Christ-ensen Christ-ensen of Midvale. Nicholl and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Huebner of Bingham enjoyed an outing at Black Rock beach. Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ray. were Mrs. Lillian Spencer and children Lois and Manuel, of American Fork, Mrs. Maurice Holmstead and sons, Gary and Von, of Lehi; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stratton of Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Florence Palmer of Detroit, Mich., and Mary Strange of Tooele. Mrs. Palmer spent the night at the Ray home.. Mrs. Joe Badovinatz of Highland High-land Boy was a dinner guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alton Pearson, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Phill Dowdell and Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Dowdell of Springville returned home Wednesday after spending three days fishing at Moon lake. Mr. and Mrs. P. O. Lovelcn and son, Duane, spent four days this week fishing at Fish lake. Mrs. Eleanor Wells spent Sunday Sun-day visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tibbie of Bingham. LaDon Yates, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Yates of Midvale is spending the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Foster. Donald Richard Loader, who has been visiting a month with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Curtis, left Tuesday for his home in Orland, Cal. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Fletcher and Mrs. E. W. Jackie Winzell Jackson left Monday evening for Hunter college, col-lege, New York, where she will begin training in the WAVES. Miss Jackson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jackson and is a graduate of Bingham high school, class of '42. Recently she has been employed at the Remington Rem-ington arms plant. Spending the week-end fishing in Provo canyon, were Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Miller and daughter, Dahrl; Norma Nichols and Mr-and Mr-and Mrs. Joe Jensen. Miss Jean Frazier, who is in the civil service branch of the army air corps, arrived by train Tuesday afternoon to spend a five day leave with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R. G. Frazier. Miss Frazier is located in Seattle, Wash. Sunday afternoon a tasty three-course three-course luncheon was enjoyed by Patty Ann Ablett and five little friends on Pat's eighth birthday. Dainty defense stamp corsages were given the following guests: Sally Brown, Patricia Whiteley, Carolyn Stoddard, La Von Anderson Ander-son and Bonnie Skinner. After lunch, party games were played, with defense stamps being given giv-en as prizes. Second Class Seaman Junior Allen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Clar-ence Allen, arrived home Thursday Thurs-day evening for a 15-day furlough, fur-lough, after completing "boot" training at the naval station at Farragut, Idaho. Junior is to report re-port back to Farragut for a short time and after that plans to be sent to sea. Monday Mrs. William Sylvester Sylvest-er of Salt Lake City entertained in honor of her brother.
