Show Mrs. Joseph Granquist, Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Wilson, and children; child-ren; Jesse M. Southwell and Sgt. and Mrs- Glen VanderSchuur and daughter, Barbara, of Salt Lake City spent the forepart of the week vacationing at Fish lake. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray and Jack Davidson left Monday to spend several days fishing at Fish lake. Pfc Marion Dunn, son of Mr, and Mrs. C. A, Dunn and formerly form-erly of Binnham, stationed now at Fort Bliss, Texas, left Wednesday Wed-nesday evening for his base after visiting a week with his parents. Monday evening he was guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren and Donna Hose Boren. : local notes; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Sorenson of Bingham and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Sorenson of Copperton visited Sunday with Sort-n Sorenson Sor-enson in Lehi. While there Mr. Sorenson's barns and stables were destroyed by fire. Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Hendrick-son Hendrick-son of Wallsburg, Utah, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Draper of Midway, Mid-way, were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Boren. Mrs. Hendrickson is Mrs. Boren's sister. sis-ter. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Davies held openhouse Sunday evening following fol-lowing the marriage of their daughter, Donna, to Lt. Sherman D. Gardner on Saturday, July 10. The wedding cake was cut and served to many friends and relatives. re-latives. Lt. and Mrs. Gardner left Tuesday morning for a short honeymoon, before Lt. Gardner reports back to Fort Jackson, S C. Reverend and Mrs. Donald Smith were dinner guests Wednesday Wed-nesday of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fike of Copperton. Leon Mitchell, Glen Huebner. Arthur Austin and D. K. Carrol enjoyed fishing at Granddaddy lakes from July 11 to 13. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Fullmer and son, Wayne and Russell Hull, spent last week fishing on Tryol lake. Mrs. Harry Watkins, the former form-er Miss Mavis Garrett, left Friday Fri-day for Portland, Ore., to join her husband who is employed there. Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Schwalm of Long Beach, Cal., is visiting this week with Mrs. Schwalm's mother, Mrs. W. A. Horn. LaMar Hutchings and sons, Ronnie and Bobbie, spent Monday Mon-day in" Salt Lake City, where they enjoyed swimming and the theater. Miss Agnes Mitchell of Los Angeles, left last Thursday after visiting a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Mitchell of Copper Heights. Mr. and Mrs. James E. Cox returned re-turned Tuesday from Panguitch, where they visited Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Norton. Mrs. Cox's brother, broth-er, Kenneth Norton returned with thorn to visit at the home of the Coxes. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Davis and sons, Davis and Stanley and Mrs. Leon Smith and son. Brent, are vacationing at Mirror lake. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Abplan-alp Abplan-alp and baby of San Diego, Cal., are guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Geo-rge Abplanalp. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Clements were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Downs of Copperton Sunday. William Mitchell Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Mitchell, left last Friday for Lima, Ohio, after visiting a week with his parents. William is a senior engineer in the small motors division of the Westingliouse company. Captain G. Preston Grant, formerly of Bingham and a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Barnctt of Copperton was recently re-cently promoted to the rank of major. Major Grant is stationed at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Md. Koran Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Johnson, returned Sunday from a month's visit with relatives in Tropic, Utah. Eldon Johnson, Marvin Throckmorton Throck-morton and Joe Wing have spent the past several days fishing at Fish lake. Mrs. Benny Chancy and daughter daugh-ter of Ogden are spending the week visiting Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ro-bert Garrison. Mrs. Chancy is Mrs. Garrison's sister. Members of Bingham volunteer volun-teer fire ladies auxiliary No. 2 and their partners enjoyed an outing in Butterfield canyon Monday evening. Thirty-two enjoyed en-joyed games, refreshments and community singing around a large bon fire. Mr. and Mrs. Duane McCandless, Mr. and Mrs. William Steele and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson were committee commit-tee members in charge. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Booth had as Sunday dinner guest Mr. Booth's mother, Mrs. Kate Booth of Salt Lake City. Ensign Justine Jones, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. W. S.
