J- J 24 DEATHS HERIN HERE HER HEREIN IN ONE WEEK The mortality report of Salt Lake City for the he week ending April shows of I nine ne males male and fifteen females Of these these- two were shipped to other places for interment The births reported for the same period numbered twenty-five twenty of which ten were males and fifteen females There Is little change in the the situation n regarding contagious diseases At the close of the last report there were twenty-three twenty cases of scarlet fever in isolation During the week wee seven new cases were reported one died and seven were released leaving two twenty-two in inthe inthe inthe the city at the close of this report Of there were eleven cases in quarantine according to the report of last week weak For the week weel covered by this report eight new cases developed three e died and six six sik having havins been discharged discharged dis dis- dis- dis charged left ten cases where warning signs are displayed No new cases of smallpox having been reported left two cases still in quarantine Five cases of measles and two cases of chickenpox were also reported 5
