Show VICTORY FLAG SOCIETY TELS MONWS PLANS Bingham district's Victory flag will be displayed for the first time at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at the Princess theatre. According to Chicago Charlie (Carl Zahos) the society has collected col-lected enough money to pay for the flag and to conduct a raffle. A $25 war bond will be sent to a man jn service, whose name will be drawn by lot. Prizes to be distributed among members of the society include war stamps totaling $15, $10, $5 and $3. The names of winners will be drawn July 4. The first letter to be sent men in service will be ready for mailing mail-ing soon, according to Mr. Zahos. Those desiring to mail a letter to someone in service should call at Societv hall between Mav 26 and June 1. Members of the society may obtain membership certificates certifi-cates and "axis hunting licenses" at the same time. The Victory Flag society now has 256 members and funds totaling to-taling $348. The janitor, Chicago Charlie, called on Louis Buch-man Buch-man Tuesday and the society was granted $25 donation from Utah Copepr company. |
