E Baucom As though they had been waiting these six days of the state fair for just such an opportunity dogs champions and plain pooches showed off and filled the air with barks as the annual dog show opened at the fairgrounds Friday The show was a highlight for crowds who visited the fairgrounds for the next to the last day of the sixth fifty-sixth annual exhibit of Utah's resources The entries in the dog show compared with last year and included an international champion champion champion cham cham- pion Warland Varland Prefect Airedale owned by Harold Florsheim of Chi Chi- cago The dog has been shown in England Germany and many cities of the United States Other champions present in the dog show building were an Afghan hound named of Pride Prid Hill and owned by G G. Williams Va Van Nuys Cal and two Boston terriers I All the Way owned by Leonard Taylor of Ogden and Mullin Perfection Perfection Per Per- owned by Miss Gail A A. Eastwood of Pocatello Idaho G.
