Show I He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Martin of Sandy and was formerly employed by United States Smelting Refining and Mining company at Bingham. At the party Saturday evening besides Chief Petty Officer Martin Mar-tin and Mrs. Martin were Mr. and Mrs. George Carrigan of Union, Mr.' and Mrs. Allen Jensen, Jen-sen, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Dens-ley, Dens-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Carrigan, Carri-gan, all of Midvale; Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Hansen, Mr. and Mrs-James Mrs-James Carrigan, all of Copperton, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carrigan, Grant Carrigan ,Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Johanson and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Johnston, all of Bingham. The evening was spent playing bridge and refreshments were served. - I Saturday even.ng Mr. and Mrs. V. S. Barlow of Copperton entertained at a family party honoring Jack F. Martin, chief shipfitter, and his wife, Mrs. Margaret Carrigan Martin of Union, Chief Petty Officer Martin enlisted May 19, 1941, in Los Angeles and took special spe-cial training at San Diego as 'a welding instructor. In December, Decem-ber, 1941, he was sent to the Hawaiian islands, where he has been with a unit of the Pacific i fleet, .based at Pearl Harbor- |
