Elks Elks' to Aid Needy Tots That Santa Claus might not nol pass up hundreds of young Salt Lakers the Elks' Elks lodge Merry Christmas club Saturday was in inthe inthe inthe the midst of ot its thirty-eighth thirty annual annual an an- annual nual campaign directing the gathering gathering gathering gath gath- ering and repairing of ot old toys that will shine like new v from Christmas morning stockings With the Elks in charge of gathering the used toys and distributing distributing dis dis distributing them for Christmas city firemen are wielding paint paintbrushes paintbrushes paintbrushes brushes and tack hammers To contribute playthings a person need but telephone the Elks' Elks club and a messenger will be sent One phase of ot the drive yielding cheering results is the Toy Days being held in Salt Lake City schools in which pupils bring toys to be donated to less fortunate children Arrangements have been made for those who have no toys to contribute but who wish to par par- These persons may take takeout takeout takeout out memberships In the Merry ferry Christmas club Funds so re received received received re- re are used to buy clothing and shoes for school children who might otherwise not be able to attend classes W.
