Show fE q I FRANK K BAKER April 10 1935 Dear Dear D car Mr Baker Your Yur comment in your column this week that the women women bowlers of the state should hold an annual tournament tournament tournament tour tour- to determine a bonafide bo champion has brought immediate results An enthusiastic group of feminine have come to the officials of the state bowling association soliciting our aid in insetting insetting insetting setting up an official state state- tournament patterned after the mens men's tournament just completed As you mentioned the feminine interest is fully great enough to warrant an organized organised system of determining the various titleholders The state association has therefore agreed to cooperate with the women in staging the first of these annual events during the week of April 15 Team doubles singles and all events competition will be held with appropriate awards in all sections The state association has hos only a cooperative interest in the plan and while white this years year's ears tournament will be conducted conducted conducted con con- ducted under our jurisdiction we propose to supervise supervise it only until such time as the feminine bowlers deem it apropos i to association I.
