G Sherwood reported report report- ed that President Brigham Young had expressed the desire that the G Goodyear claim on the Weber river should be purchased by the Saints Ira Eldredge David Spencer and Henry G. G Sherwood were appointed appoint appoint- ed a committee for the purpose of oC collecting the means if it po possible to buy out ut Mr Ml Goodyear November NO 11 tn the committee report reported d that they had been unsuccessful in raising the means November Miles 16 1847 Mr Goodyear who owned a ranch on the Weber rivet river arrived in Salt Lake City on a n visit to the pioneer colony November tho the high council decided that Henry G.
