J Fred Daynes at their home on Harvard avenue in honor lonor of the marriage of their daughter Miss Arline Daynes and Melvin Thorley which was solemnized in the L L. D D. D S. S temple Wednesday morning George Albert Smith officiating The home was decorated d with quantities of evergreen and poinsettia combined with holly berries The bridal party stood before the fire place The mantle shelf was banked with evergreen and ivory cathedral candles in candelabra were at either cither end Floor baskets filled with poinsettia poinsettia poin were at either cither side The bridal party descended the stairway to o strains of the bridal chorus from Lohengrin Preceding the ceremony Mrs Margaret Anderson Bowen s sang ng ngOh Oh Promise Me and I Love You Truly The bridesmaids Miss ML s Helen Taggart Taggart Tag- Tag gart Bart and Miss Virginia wore form fitting models of gold crepe with full puff sleeves and matching turbans They carried arms arms- ful of Talisman roses Mrs Lyndon Daynes Snow matron of honor wore a model of turquoise blue crepe with matching turban and she carried Ophelia roses The attractive bride wore a Worth model in empire empire em em- empire pire style of eggshell satin The long tight fitting sleeves were puffed at atthe atthe atthe the shoulder and the dress yoke was of real lace and seed pearls Her veil was of maline held in place by bya a real lace cap caught with orange blossom clusters Her bouquet was o of Johanna Hill roses with a shower of lilies of the valley Kenneth Robertson Robert Roberl- Robertson best Mrs mother moth moth- son was man Daynes Dancs er of the thc bride wore a Lanvin model mode of pebble crepe and a corsage of gardenias The serving table in the dining room was covered with a handsome Italian cut work cutwork work cloth and centered with a basket baskel of poinsettia and lighted light light- cd ed with candelabra of ivory candles Mrs L.
