A nephew of Mrs. Thomas Mayne, Fitzgerald worked in Bingham Canyon two years ago. He was re-ported lost with the U.S.S. Hous-ton, Mrs. W. II. Shurtleff, sons, Bil-ly and Byron, and Mr. and Mrs. Odell Madsen and son, Scott, all of Salt Lake City, were dinner guests Sunday cf Mr. and Mrs. Rulon K. Madsen. A string quartet which was featured in the fourth of a series of "at home" concerts Sunday afternoon at the University of Utah included a former Bingham high school student. Art Peter-son, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Peterson of Sandy, violinist and member of the University symph-ony orchestra directed by Pro-fessor Arthur Pederson Freber. Mr. and Mrs. Francis C. Os-wald were home Sunday even-ing after a week's absence. They were called to Los Angeles by illness of Mr. Oswald's father, C. N. Oswald, who is reported much improved. Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Otteson entertained at dinner Sunday evening in honor of Mrs. David C. Lyon, the occasion being her birthday. Others present were Bishop Lyon and Mary Lou and Allen Lyon. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Starkey and children of Park City visited ov-er the week-en- d with Mr. and Mrs. IT. F. Dowd. Mrs. Joseph Webb and daugh-ter, Galen, of Midvale, visited Tuesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Earl T. James. Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Faddis and family, Robert and Barbara, of American Fork, spent the week-end visiting relatives. Mrs. Cath-erine Grant, who was a guest of the Faddises the past two weeks, returned home.
