Show At 2 p.m. next Tuesday the Bingham LDS Relief society will hear a social science 'lesson, "Rights Versus Responsibilities In The Home", to be given by Mrs. Avon Stoker. The BinghaTn high school year book staff plans to raise funds by selling chances on a car robe, which will be on display soon in a window in the Bingham business busi-ness district. Chances will be 10 cents each or three for a quarter, John Anderson, editor, and Russell Rus-sell Loveless, business manager, plan. Mr. and Mrs. Clair R. Mathis, Wayne Booren, Mrs. Florence Toy, Miss JenaVee Larson, Miss Gwen Parker were in Magna Sunday afternoon to inspect the new J. C. Penney company store. LOCALNOTES A family dinner Sunday, honored hon-ored Miss Katherine Gust, daughter dau-ghter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gust, on her nineteenth birthday. Special Spe-cial guests were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sturgill, Miss Donnetta Ellis and Miss Beverly Allred of Salt Lake City. Jacqueline Christensen, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Christensen Chris-tensen of Salt Lake City, was taken to Bingham hospital March 19 for treatment of pneumonia. Mrs. Christensen and children are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Robertson. The sixth birthday of Joyce Otteson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Otteson, was celebrated cele-brated the afternoon of March 20 at the family home. The 12 small guests enjoyed a luncheon with birthday cake and ice cream. Favors -were balloons and all day suckers. |
