Show : ' ' lark : Pvt. Lynn Henson of Fort Douglas spent Stinday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Lionel Ilenson. Mrs. Vance Nelson and baby daughter, of Salt Lake City, arrived ar-rived Friday to spend two weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Thomas. Miss Marva Mumford entertained enter-tained several friends at a theatre thea-tre party and refreshments were served at her home later, Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Mr. and Mrs .Gordon Meyer-hoffer Meyer-hoffer announce the birth of a daughter at LDS hospital May 2. Mrs. Meyerhoffer is the former Miss Melba Bennett. Sherrill Overson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Overson and a member of the senior class at the University of Utah, is being inducted in-ducted into the army this week. He will beat the barracks in the field house for the time being. Mrs. Jack Gressman and dau- ghter, Helen, were guests or Mr. ' and Mrs- James Beddingfield of Murray. Miss Winona Peterson, USAC student, spent the week-end with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. William Overson and Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Nelson attended the track meet at the U. of U. Saturday. Their sons, Sherrill Overson and Frank Nelson, Nel-son, were participating. VeLoy Hatch and Thomas Hatch and William Fahrni spent Sunday and Monday fishing at Bear lake. Mrs. Glenn C. Waterman and sons, Glenn and Gary, left Saturday Sat-urday evening for Lyndon, Wash., to visit three months with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Renfro. Jean Brynolf of Salt Lake City spent the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Verner Brynolf . Pvt. Wallace Reed of the U.S. army and Mrs. Alice Salmon of McGill, Nev., were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jackson Wednesday evening. |
