Show OUTLOOK IN PLEASING TO BAMBERGER By SIMON BAMBERGER It is with pleasure I speak of the campaign trip we have just finished All through the south east eat and west of this state we found good hotel accommodation accommodation some of them quite modern The southern and eastern counties have poor roads and these should be Improved without delay thus enabling the farmers to take their produce to market especially in those outlying districts where there are no railroads and the long long haul over rough roads is almost prohibitive S There are thousands of acres of land now unoccupied which would be settled set set- tied and soon made profitable with good roads After severe storms and bad weather some of which we had the misfortune to encounter the roads are almost im impassable Notwithstanding an almost entire failure of the tile first crop the farmers generally are very prosperous They seem to be most thrifty and industrious ous Otis furthermore keep well advised of present day problems and seem to manIfest manifest man man- a great interest in the Campaign In a number of places we were the tho guests of prominent Democrats and of Woodrow Wilson clubs Every indication assures me that President Wilson has the confidence and support of the people and that not only will he carry the state by a large majority but the tile entire Democratic ticket will be elected |
