I Guy City Board Abolishes Water Waler Engineering Unit An engineering staff connected with the ic cit city water department and independent inde- inde pendent of the city engineering detriment de de- de- de which was established four months months ago by the city commission to effect feet economies and increase effi- effi ency in the water department was abolished by the commission Thurs Thurs- day Four engineers transferred to the water department December 18 1931 by the commission were sent back to toe the e general engineering department on n motion of Commissioner George D. D Keyser eyser head of the water department and nd Commissioner Joseph H H. Lake head lead of the engineering department The en engineers who will again join the ic engineering department and devote devote de- de vote ote their time to water problems and projects as they did before the change are re R R.
