Tooele Legion Plans Washington Fete TOOELE Ja Jan 28 A 28 A program In commemoration of oC Washington's Washington s birthday is being planned b by the American legion to be given in the high school auditorium at 8 p. p m. m February 22 According to Dr T. T 1 M Aldous commander the program will consist o of patriotic readings and music and the reading of two prize winning essays from the fifth and sixth grades of the Tooele Central school Hamilton Gardner of Salt Lake will be the speaker and tenor solos will be sun sung by Lee Farrer also of Salt Lake W W. D. D Holt head of the music department department department de de- of the Tooele high school will give a concert in the auditorium of the high school February 5 5 The concert is sponsored by the legion and the proceeds will be used to buy milk for lor the childrens children's free lunchroom at atthe atthe atthe the school which is sponsored by bj the legion and auxiliary
