S church who died Wednesday will be held Friday at 1 I p p. p m. m in the Seventeenth ward chapel Interment will be in City cemetery The body may be viewed at the home of her sister Mrs Matthew Matth Matth- II cw ew A A. Miller North Second West street from 10 a. a m. m until noon Fri Fri- day Mrs Ashton was born in Salt Lake August 25 1891 a daughter of the late President Smith and the late Sarah Ellen Richards Smith She was born on the anniversary of her mothers mother's birth She and Mr Ashton were married June 9 1921 and moved to Blackfoot Idaho shortly afterward She returned returned returned re re- re- re turned after the death of Mr Ashton in July 1922 when he was drowned in the Blackfoot canal while trying to rescue his sister Miss Georgia Ashton She had resided here since that time Mrs Ashton was an L. L D. D S. S temple worker and was a coU counselor in the Seventeenth ward primary association association tion for several years Surviving are the following brothers broth broth- ers and sisters Joseph R.
