A Kerr prominent Salt Lake physician died Saturday y at 9 a a. a ro in m at ai at h his home Twelfth East street of ana anaemia mia f following ving a nervous suffered some sometIme sometime sometime time ago H He was 60 y years rs old Dr Kerr who was well known in medical circles was wasi born in London Ontario Canada September 26 26 1871 a son of Mr Mf and Mrs Angus Kerr He spent his boyhood in L London and attended th the Toronto Normal school from which he was graduated when he was 19 years old After After teaching school in London for tor two ye years rs Dr Kerr entered Rush Medical college at Chicago and upon being graduated he was as given a fellowship tel fel el- el in the Polyclinic at Chicago where he worked as a a. a postgraduate medical student CAME CAl TO SALT LAKE Upon completion of his studies there in 1897 Dr Kerr came to Salt Lake and became affiliated with St St. StMark's Marks Mark's hospital Later he joined the staff stat of Holy Cross hospital of which he was a member at the time tune time of his death He at one time was head of the staff at the old Judge Mercy h hos hospital s pital Dr Kerr was a thirty second de de- de- de gree Scottish Rite a member member mem mern- ber of the Presbyterian church in which he took an all active part He was wasa a member of the American College of Surgeons the Western Surgical as assocIation association as- as the Utah State Medical as association association association as- as and the Salt Lake County Medical society He served as president president president dent of the latter organization eight years ago WIDOW SURVIVES Surviving arc are his widow Mrs Margaret Margaret Margaret Mar Mar- garet Robertson Kerr three children Mrs Marguerite Kaufman of Forest Hills N.
