Show Mrs. Janiebell Sullivan of Salt Lake City visited at the Mrs. Bertha Nichols home last Wednesday Wed-nesday and Thursday. Seaman 2 c Louis Martin who is stationed at Farragut, Idaho, is visiting at the Mrs. Bertha Nichols home this week. Miss Evelyn Knez of Salt Lake City spnt the week-end visiting visit-ing with Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Yates. Mrs. Julian Baum has received receiv-ed word that her husband, Cpl. Julian Baum is back in Australia alter eight months in New Guinea. Guin-ea. Visitors at the Runar Martinson Martin-son homo Tuesday evening were the parents of Mr. Martinson, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Martinson of Salt Lake City, and a brother and a brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Martinson Jr. of Tooele. j LOCAL NOTES j Joseph Berger Jr., son of Joseph Jo-seph Berger of Copperfield, of the United States Army Air corps has been promoted to the rank of captain. Young Berger is a pilot and has been serving in the ferrying command. He is now located at St. Joseph, Mo., where he is taking advance aviation avia-tion training for overseas duty. Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. John Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Morley were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parker of Midvale Sunday in Little Cottonwood canyon at a picnic dinner. |
