Show HIGHLAND boy: Alice Virginia Brown of the Highland Boy Community House left Monday for Kansas City, Mo., where she will visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Brown. Seaman 2c Pat Rubich left Tuesday to return to his base at Farragut, Idaho, where he has recently completed his basic training. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs.. Martin Pechina. Miss Vera Duhigg, nurse at the Bingham hospital, has arrived ar-rived to spend a two-week vacation vaca-tion at the Highland Boy Community Com-munity House. Plans have been completed for the annual Field day program following a summer's activity on our playground. A definite date has not been set, but is to be held the latter part of August. Children Child-ren who have been attending the playground activities will participate. par-ticipate. A Community sing is also planned. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Jeffcott and daughter, Helen, left Monday Mon-day for an indefinite camping trip in the Duchesne area. Marie Azzelio, Mildred Muhar, Dorothy Chanak and .Mary Ra-kich Ra-kich returned home . Sunday evening ev-ening after spending an inspirational inspir-ational week at Conference Institute In-stitute held at Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant. Miss Ada Duhigg, Du-higg, superintendent of the Highland High-land Boy Community House was dean of-the Crusaders and Rev. Reginald Goff of Tremonton was dean of the senior and young people at the Institute. Sunday evening church services servic-es will be held in the Community Commu-nity House yard. Special music is planned by Mr, and Mrs. Gilbert Gil-bert Lucero and talks will be given by young people that attended at-tended Conference Institute. Mr. and Mrs. James Serassio and son, James Jr., moved Saturday Sat-urday to Midvale where they will make their home. |
