| Show Salt Lake City Utah Special Water Bond Election Wednesday July 1st 1931 Public Notice Pursuant to ordinance of Salt Lake City Utah adopted and approved on the day of May 1931 public notice is hereby given that a special election will be held at the respective polling places hereafter to be designated in each ward in said City on Wednesday the 1st day of July A. A D At such election there will vIll be submitted to a vote of such qualified registered electors of Salt Lake City as shall have paid a property tax therein in lit the year 1930 the following question Shall Salt Lake City Salt Lake County State of Utah create create cre cre- ate an indebtedness by Issuing its negotiable coupon In Inthe Inthe the sum of Two Million Dollars for tim tho purpose of supplying said City with water anti and increasing enlarging ex extending cx- cx tending and perfecting the present water supply anti and waterworks system of Salt Lake City and for supplying said City and the In Inhabitants Inhabitants In- In habitants thereof with additional water the said additional water water supply and waterworks system for supplying such water to be owned and controlled by the said municipality said bonds to be absolutely due and payable serially in not more than forty 40 years front from their date and bearing Interest at the rate of not to exceed five per cent 5 per annum payable as shall hereafter be determined by said City by ordinance The polls will be opened at seven o'clock a. a m. m and continue open until seven o'clock p p. p m. m of the same sante day and will be closed at that hour There shall be no special registration of voters for the tho said election but the Official Register last made made- or revised shall constitute the Official Register for such election The ballots to be used In voting on the question submitted will be prepared and furnished by the the City City recorder to the judges of election to bo be by them furnished to the voters The election will be held and conducted in lit all respects as nearly as possible in n conformity with wit the general election laws laws' of the State In witness whereof the Board of Commissioners of Salt Lako the State of Utah have caused this notice to be published and posted as required by law this day of May A.
