I K Parsons Co the Parson Livestock company compau and the Clifford Livestock company A large larg lobby goes to make up part of ot the building in which is la located a lI cigar and candy stand Among the other new improvements Is a largo large new sheep division lon which Is located on the north side aide of ot the now building giving iving g ga ge the e ril yards a capacity capacity ca ca- of holing holding l a and feeding cars of or sheep at one time A large now new sheep shed was waa completed during the year ear which has lias a capacity ox of holding head under cover The shed Is constructed no so that tho the proper ventilation is given It is also equipped with cement mangers and troughs which ate are kept filled tilled with hay and running water vater The whole yard has been cemented The tracks of or both railroads running along the whole length of ot the west side A new cattle section was construct construct- constructed ed cd during the past year making room for an additional fifty cars The present present present pres pres- ent capacity of the cattle section Isnow is isnow isnow now cars CM's Arrangements have also been made mad ao so that an addition can be added with another fifty car capacity capo as the business of ot the yards increase This section also has a ace ace- ce cement cement ce- ce ment JI floor and is equipped with feeding feeding feeding feed feed- ing troughs and running water FACILITIES ARE ARC INCREASED A it new large hay barn rn has lias also been added giving biving tho the yards a capacity of ot ore moro than GOO tons of ot hay The hog section Is now capable of oC handling more JI than fifty tifty cars most of ot tho the space of ot which is under cover The pens are considered among the tine most modern and best equipped In Inthe inthe the country The additional improvements made this year gives the yards room to handle more hogs head of or cattle and head of ot sheep than it did last year With tho the new improvements which have been made during tho the past year the yards era ara now considered to be the best equipped and one ono of the largest yards in tho the entire West Vest in includIng including including in- in those at Los Angeles Angelea and other oilier large largo California cities clUes The yards have an excellent re reputation u- u tation throughout tho the whole Intermountain Intermountain Intermountain Inter- Inter mountain country as being the cleanest cleanest cleanest clean clean- est and best cared carell for yards and gIvIng giving ing the quickest and best service that prat is possible Much credit for the growth and success success success suc suc- cess is due to tho the good management of Mr 11 Manderfield l who Is known throughout tho the country as an excellent excellent excellent excel excel- lent man for the tho place He is known and liked by every cattle and sheep sheep- man In the western country and is known to all as Joe I Each ach year at the yards the national ram show Is held at at which tImet time t sheep heep and rams of ot the best breed from all sections of or tho the country are shown During the year some of ot the best bred stock of sheep and cattle In tho the whole United States have been exhibited and handled by the yards The officers of the tho c company include 1 M.
