Show THE CONTRACT SIGNED. Utah Will Hare the Largest Rett fe'ngar Factory In the Connlrr. By the signing of the contract last night, Utuh will ere long bo in possession pos-session of a factory for the manufacture manufac-ture of beet sugar. The organisation organisa-tion was completed yesterday afternoon by the election of the following fol-lowing ofBcere: President, Ellas Morris; vice-president, George Q. Cannon; secretary, Arthur Stayner; treasurer, Thomas G. Webber: ex. ecutlve committee: Francis Armstrong, Arm-strong, Thomas R. Cutler, L.G. Hardy and Thos. G. Webber. The remaining directors are: Moses Thatcher, A. O, Smoot, John Heck, A. E. Hyde, Jatnes Jack, James Chlpiuiu and Henry Wallace. Messrs. Dyer, of Alvardo, Cal., members ot tbe executive board, were authorized to sign the contract for the erection of the factory and to secure all the plant requisite for the carrying on of thu business. Tne plant will, it is stated.lnvolve an outlay of SiOO.000, and will be the most extensive In the country, havlnzadailrcatocltr for wnrkm 3o0tons. The new factory will be located In the northern part of Utah County, Coun-ty, but no definite decision has yet been arrived at as to tho exact spot. The present undertaking will be the fourth factory of the kind in thUcouutry.
