Show APPROACHING STORMS. A .Forecast or Them by rnresor Fo-lcr. tCorrttpoihleoee of the Dc-eretNcws.) Heretofore I promised to give in this letter the dates for one of Uie greatest storms or the year. I have already stated that the tropical hurricanes hur-ricanes would Increase in force rrom the first of the month to the ninth, When one of them will not be far from tho Gulf of Mexico, but these tropical hurricanes are entirely entire-ly distinct from the continental storms aud more in an entirely entire-ly d flerent circuit. The cou-tin-nta! storm will be due to leave the Pacific coast about theStb, cross Uie Mississippi valley from th to Sth aud reach Uie Atlantic coast about the 9th. It will be at Its greatest force on th northeast Atlantic coast about Uie Oth and will be a very dangerous storm. I would advise ail to keep off of the seas about that time. About Uiat time the storms will be very severe all around the earth and while our set of storms are crossing Uio Mississippi Missis-sippi valley the other three storm wac3thal belong to this latitude will bo about the middle of the nonh Atlantic, in eastern Europe nnd on tho north Pacific The three systems of iiurrleanes, one on the north AtianUc, one on the north Pacific and one on the Indian ocean will all show increased activity. Each of the3e systems revolves around the center or the oceans to which they belong. Following Uie storm or the oth to Sth will be a cold wave the force or which wUI depend on the location or the tropical hurricane. Iu the extreme iiorthn est r expect a blizzard, bliz-zard, but I cannot say ho w far south it will go. The causes of these unusual disturbances ore: Venus at its equinoctial on theSUiand the nicon crossing the earth's equator on tho Oth. The influence or Venus' equinoctial covers all the first half of tho month while the moon's in-llueuco in-llueuco covers only three or four days. On the Sth the equator or Venus will be toward tho tun Increasing In-creasing (he sun's electrical forces which In turn causes an electrical agitation throughout the solar system. sys-tem. This does not change the time or direction or Uie storms, only increases in-creases their force. This Venuslan disturbance would develop sun spots were Jupiter at his disturbing point, but as heli not, Uierewill be but few sun spots. The earth was passing tho equator of Venus from the 2oth to the 25th, causing Uie great storms of that period. As before stated .November will bo noted for its great storms. Mercury Mer-cury will pass its greatest disturbing disturb-ing poiut 0n the 15Ui and will affect the storms iminediatolv L-fnmnn.l after that date. By the Influence o Mercury and Venus on the earth the weather differ very much, the former for-mer having a tendency to murky, rainy weather, while the latter Is more violent and frequently brings the tornado, the hurricane and the blizzard. Wo may not expect settled weather again till nfter Uie 2oth. It mustle remembexed, however, how-ever, Uiat the storms do not cover the whole continent, but when they cros tho southern part, cool, fair weather, Is the rule for the north; and when they erosg the north inrt, warm, fair weather occurs in the eouUi. Look out for bad weather In the valley between the Alleghany and Becky mountains Irom 2"ov. cth to Oth, a dangerous storm ou the Atlantic coast, a great hurricane on tho Guir or Mexico, and a blizzard in tho northwest.
