Show ACCIDENT TAKES LIFE OF YOUTH AT CEDAR VALLEY A Millard county youth who had made his home at times in Maple-ton, Maple-ton, was killed instantly in Cedar Valley, west of Dehi, Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon of last week when a loaded load-ed gravel truck bed slipped and crushed his head between the bed and the truck chassis. He was Ray Wasden, 21, native of Scipio, who had been working for the Cornell MendenhaU Construction Con-struction Co. on the road from Lehi to Fairfield. Wasden was examining the truck hoist for another driver, Chess N. Kirkham, 33, Cedar Fort,, at the time of the accident. Investigating Investigat-ing officers said the hoist had stuck, and Wasden reached in to try to fix it. The hoist suddenly slipped, letting the loaded truck bed crash down on his head. The accident occurred about 1 p. m. Mr. Wasden was born Dec. 19, 1926, in Scipio, Millard county, a son of Carl William and Ida Johnson John-son Wasden.
