Show Civic Clubs Plan Fete To Honor District Scouts Program To Be Tuesday, February 8, At 7 :30 At Memorial Hall; Approximately 400 Scouts and Scouters Expected To Attend Commemorating National Scout Week, the Lions club, Kiwanis club and the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce are cooperating; to sponsor an entertainment for approximately 208 Boy Scouts; 101 Senior Scouts,: and nearly 100 Scout leaders and committeemen of the Springville-Mapleton districts dis-tricts next Tuesday evening, beginning be-ginning at 7:30 p. m., at Memorial Memor-ial hall. Plans for the program were outlined out-lined at a meeting held at the home of Victor Frandsen, Kiwanis president, Monday evening, when members of the general committee on entertainment were also announced. an-nounced. Mr. Frandsen and William Witney, Wit-ney, representing the Kiwanis club; Mayland Russell from the Jaycees, and Howard Thorpe representing the Lions club, constitute the general gen-eral committee in charge of arrangements. ar-rangements. The program wilfr include community singing under direction of Glenn Holley and Wil-ford Wil-ford Kapp. Leo Felix will show films on scouting and several program pro-gram numbers will be presented1 from the various Scout troops, under un-der direction of Wilford Manwar-ing.
