Show Jaycees Fete Children... SPRINGVILLE . . . The Springville Jaycees will entertain en-tertain at a Chrisamas party for their children this evening at Memorial Me-morial hall, announces A. H. Mor-tensen, Mor-tensen, club president. Julian Rasmussen will be in charge of the program and arrangements ar-rangements have been made to have Mrs. W. S. Mahana, recently from Hollywood, Calif., give a show with her Marionettes. j The party will get underway at 7 p. m., and in the neighborhood , of 200 children are expected. I The usual Christmas spirit will ' pervade the occasion, with a pretty pret-ty Cristmas tree and other holiday holi-day decorations about the hall. Before the close of the party, Santa Claus will make his customary custo-mary visit to distribute a gift to every boy and girl present. ; MAPLETON ... i Children of Mapleto Jaycees are looking forward to a Christ-! Christ-! mas party planned by their dads ' for Friday evening, Dec .20, in the Mapleton school. Scheduled to begin at 8 p. m., a fine program will be given for , the special benefit of the children. ; A large crowd is expected. , Ralph Harmer has been selected select-ed to have charge of the entertainment entertain-ment and has sent an invitation to Santa Claus to come to the party par-ty with bags of candy and nuts and a gift for every child present. He will be assisted by Verl Jensen. The Mapleton Jaycees also announce an-nounce that a membership drive is underway by the club with Fred Jensen, chairman. He reports that already several new members have joined. |
