Show By The Light of the Shining Star By Riclxard M. Dick) C onouer Long years ago in Bethlehem, A glorious star appeared. And in the hearts and souls of men A wondrous hope was reared. For Christ our Lord was bom that day, Fulfilling prophecy. And the star of Love shone brightly For all the world to see. The Angels sang of peace on earth, Good will to all men be. And the shepherds were told of the heavenly birth Of the Man of Gallilee. The wise men traveled from afar Their precious gifts to bring. They followed the light of the shining star To worship the new born King. And since that day of long ago, The custom is to bring Presents to those we love, and so Remember our Lord and King. .God gave to us His only Son, Tliat we on earth might live. Let us remember this Holy One And to Him our praises give. If only the wise men of today Would cease to worship from afar, And sprinkle happiness along life's way j By the light of the shining star. How happy we'd be as we go along, If we would always remember Him. And keep in our hearts a smile and a song, There wouldn't be room for sin. Peace on earth good will to all men, Is the song the Angels still sing. And we raise our voices in a great Amen, To Christ the Lord, Our King. iff i ; 1 't N e i i - J mm |
