Show -Mothers Study Club Hears Fine Program Christmas In Other Lands was the subject of an exceptionally interesting in-teresting paper given by Mrs. Floss Taylor at the meeting of the iMothers Study club last Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Lela Sumsion. Mrs. Margaret Huntington, club president, welcomed the members I and read timely suggestions in regard re-gard to safety in the home, compiled com-piled by the Safety Council. The family should be organized as a safety committee and changes should be made to assure safer homes, it was brought out in the bulletin. Mrs. Huntington read from the state Federated Womens club report on the recentmceting sponsored by the Pari Passu club here. Readings by Mrs. Adelia Evans of Lake Shore brought forth much mirth and laughter from the group, and the meeting was concluded con-cluded with the serving of a nicely arranged lunch by the hostess. The next meeting was announced an-nounced for December 17, to be in the foim of a Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Norma Strong, beginning at 7 p. m., and at which Christmas gifts will be exchanged. |
