Show 3 WISE MEN SEARCH FOR PEACE TIi ere is a search for peace in this World of ours today; to-day; a search which the wise men of all Nation's are diligently dili-gently following, hoping against hope that the forces of misunderstanding, of hatred, of greed and selfishness, shall not conquer. It is so much like the search for peace some two thousand thou-sand years ago; a story of which we will hear over and over again as the Christmas season approaches. And we hope that the search for peace in this day will be as successful suc-cessful as was that of the wise men those many years ago, and that the story will he as beautiful to future generations as, "The Greatest Story Ever Told" is to us today. As on that day many years ago, the search for peace today is not an easy road. Peace was never easy; there have always been people who would rather have greed, hatred, struggle. But those who want peace, those who search for peace, those who are willing to fight for peace, will find it, even as the three wise men of old found the Prince Of Peace. Perhaps our peacemakers today, and every one of us, can learn a most invaluable lesson from the story once again and as we listen to it this season, we should let it s message seep deep into our souls. |
