The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morgan and the bridegroom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bale. The ceremony was performed by candlelight in the early evening and was witnessed by approximately approxi-mately 30 close relatives and friends of the young couple. The bride was beautifully gowned gown-ed in a moon-glow satin wedding dress entrain, designed with silk lace bodice, long pointed sleeves and high neckline. Her veil of brides' illusion was arranged to a tierra of seed pearls and she carried car-ried a beautiful shower bouquet of pale pink rose-buds centered with an orchid. She was attended by Mrs. Glade Tuttle as matron of honor; Mrs. Shirlene Wheeler and Mrs. Nelda Smith, attending matrons and Mrs. Pat Aiken of Provo and Norma Collings were bridesmaids. They wore pastel colored formals and carried pretty colonial bouquets. Little Marilyn Tipton was flower girl. Acting as best man for the bridegroom was Glade Tuttle. The reception was featured by a program, refreshments and dancing. danc-ing. Robert Peters of Ogden was master of ceremonies and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morgan, Jr., and Mrs. Wm. Ruff received the guests, acting act-ing as host and hostesses during the evening. Refreshments were served under the direction of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Butterfield assisted by Miss Marie Child, Miss Barbara Clark, Mrs. ; Wilson Thomas and Mrs. Robert Thomas of Spanish Fork. The serving table, covered with a Brazilian lace cloth was decorated decor-ated with a 3-tiered wedding cake and a low bowl of roses on a mirror with tall white tapers in crystal holders on either end. The color scheme of pink and white was further carried out in large baskets of peonies about the hall. In charge of gift arrangement were Mrs. Pat Belihar, Mrs. Boyd Jolly, Mrs. Waldo Thomas of Spanish Fork. The program for the evening included vocal solos by Golden Hansen, by Miss Marie Child and Bill Crawford. Eli Tippetts gave readings as did Toastmaster Robert Peters. The program was followed by dancing. Immediately after the wedding reception, the young couple left on a few days honeymoon trip and are now making their home at 167 South Sixth West in Provo. |
