Show LITTLE THEATRE SETS DATES F0!n-A(T PLAY Membership Drive Begins For Theatre Group; Initial N Meeting Features Play Reading Dates for the 3-act play, "The Ideal Husband," have been set for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 13 and 14 in the Fourth ward amusement amuse-ment hall. The production will be the initial offering by the Little Theatre and is a sophisticated comedy in an English royalty setting. set-ting. Since the play requires costuming, costum-ing, and in as much as the Little Theatre group is beginning its program pro-gram of activities without sponsorship, spon-sorship, any costumes, formals or other suitable clothing or accessories accessor-ies anyone desires to contribute or lend for the staging of the play, will be welcomed by the group. Mrs. Dalton, chairman of the theatre group, was in charge and announced the opening of the membership drive for the season. Membership in the Little Theatre will entitle the bearer to free admittance to all the productions and activities of the organization during the season. sea-son. Concluding-- the evening's entertainment, enter-tainment, Miss Marie Dean Bybee gave an excellent interpretation of character in her reading of the 3-act play, "The Enchanted Cottage" Cot-tage" to which an appreciative audience acknowledged with, a hearty applause. Memberships were taken following the meetipg. The next regular meeting and entertainment will follow the presentation pres-entation of the play in July. |
