Show FUTURE CITIZENS. EXHIBIT INTEREST . IN TOWN PAPER Seems there will be a lot of printers and newspaper people in the next generation judging judg-ing from the interest exhibited exhibit-ed by the youth of this city in what is going on in the Springville Herald shop. Hardly Hard-ly a week goes by these days without some interested group makes appointment for a tour and gets first handed information informa-tion on how their newspaper and books are printed. Last week, the establishment establish-ment had the pleasure of conducting con-ducting a group through from the Lincoln Third grade,who are taught by Miss Hanna Baker, Ba-ker, and it was such notes as . the following, received after they left, which makes it seem worth while: Springville, Utah September 27. 1949 Dear Newspaper Workers, We want to thank you for letting our newspaper committee commit-tee come to your printing shop. We want to thank you for showing them the machines They enjoyed it very much. Did you enjoy having them come ? We enjoyed their report. We' want to thank you for running the printing press when you were all through. We thank you, The Third Grade. |
