U. faculty, will discuss the effects of pulp literature on young people peo-ple in connection with juvenile delinquency, at the regular weekly week-ly meeting of the Kiwanis club this evening, beginning at 7 p. m., at Memorial , hall. The meeting will open under direction di-rection of Harrison Conover, club president, with G. Ray Hales, representing rep-resenting the club board of directors, direc-tors, to be in charge of the program. pro-gram. The next meeting of the club on Thursday, March 14, will be in the form of a banquet and program pro-gram sponsored by the club at which sugar beet growers of Springville and Mapleton will be invited as special guests. The meeting is planned to be held at Mapleton. Professor Harold Cutler, assistant as-sistant professor of economics at the University of Utah and advisor ad-visor to the Utah state tax commission, com-mission, discussed means by which an equalizing of the taxes in the state of Utah is proposed. |
