Show ? Coming Events . . . Cultural Arts Club The first regular meeting of the Cultural Arts club for this season will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 4, at 8 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Ina Christensen. Mrs. G. W. Friel will give the topic of the program. Home Culture Club Members of the Home Culture club will conduct their first regular regu-lar meeting of the season in the form of a social Friday evening, beginning at 7:30 p. m., at the home of Mrs. Jack Perham. Junior Fireside The Junior Fireside will meet at the home of Miss Nancy Salisbury at 81 East, Second No., Sunday at 8:30 p. m. All boys and girls 13 to 17 years, are invited. CLUB MEMBERS ENJOY SOCIAL Members of the Ladies Literary club spent a delightful afternoon last Wednesday when they were entertained at the home of Mrs. Harold Christensen. Hostesses for the occasion included new officers of the club, Mrs. O. H. Dalton, president; Mrs. Edward Clyde, vice-president; Mrs. J. Y Beam-son, Beam-son, secretary; Mrs. Christensen, program chairman, and the party complimented the retiring officers. An entertaining feature of the afternoon was a review of the club organization, given in an interesting in-teresting manner by Mrs. Berton Groesbeck, club historian. The social was concluded with the serving of tasty refreshments to nineteen club members. FOURTH WARD MIA CONDUCTS PARTY Members of the Fourth ward Young Women's MIA held a party par-ty Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Lucille Roylance for retiring re-tiring officers and teachers of the organization. A book review, "Cluny Brown," was given by Mrs. Ruth Brock-bank Brock-bank of Spanish Fork, and a tasty tas-ty luncheon was served to eighteen eigh-teen guests. Those honored on- the occasion were, Miss Beth Miller, Mrs. Margaret Mar-garet Holdaway, Mrs. Marie Poul-sen Poul-sen and retiring teachers. Mrs. Melva Harrison and other officers of the Mutual were in charge of the party. |
