Show GROUP MEETS TO DISCUSS SCHOOL BEAUTIFICATION Express Desire To Have Projects Started Soon To Improve Grounds A group consisting of PTA presidents, pres-idents, principals' and other officers offi-cers and patrons of the three elementary ele-mentary schools of this city, as well, as other representatives, of Springville met at the Lincoln school Monday evening to discuss beautification of the elementary schools of Springville. Victor Frandsen reported that he had invited Paul Thorn, local board member, to the meeting and ' that he had reported his inability : to attend but gave assurance that Nebo School Board had plans laid for planting of lawns and other beautification rtrnients tn hpp-in early this season. The group felt that ' a report should be made to the school board of Nebo district that the organizations organiza-tions represented were very desirous desir-ous of getting undesirable trees and other shrubbery, fences and debris, removed; getting ground leveled to eliminate puddles; trees, lawns, shrubs and flowers planted plant-ed according to accepted landscaping landscap-ing procedure, and that this be .done as early as possible to aid I Springville in the special drive to beautify the city for the Centennial Centen-nial year. |
